Our glazing options include argon-filled double glazing, toughened safety glass, laminated security glass, decorative glazing, obscure glass and textured designs, allowing every entrance door to balance natural light, privacy, security and thermal performance.

Yes. Accoya® is one of our preferred timber choices for external doors due to its exceptional dimensional stability, durability and resistance to changing weather conditions.

Can you match an existing period door?

Yes. We regularly manufacture bespoke replacement doors for listed buildings, period homes and conservation projects, carefully reproducing original proportions, mouldings and architectural detailing where required.

Can I choose my own paint colour?

Yes. We can colour-match most RAL, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or Dulux paint colours, together with a wide range of premium timber stains.

Do I need planning permission to replace an external timber door?

Replacement external doors do not usually require planning permission where the appearance of the property remains broadly unchanged. However, additional permissions may be required for listed buildings, properties within conservation areas or where specific planning restrictions apply.

Building Regulations are separate from planning permission and may also apply to replacement external doors. Requirements vary depending on the property and the work involved, so we recommend checking with your Local Planning Authority or Building Control where appropriate.

For heritage and listed building projects, we can provide drawings and joinery specifications to support planning or listed building consent applications where required.
